Gol Gohar Sirjan Cultural and Sports Club, whose initial sports activities date back to 1987 (with the formation of a workers' football team and the development of ball sports), began its professional journey in 1997 after obtaining an official license. Youth sports activities at Gol Gohar Club started alongside the early years of its official establishment with the goal of talent identification and purposeful nurturing of the new generation across various age groups as a center in sports such as volleyball and football.
Gradually, with organizational maturity and structural development, as well as significant leaps in the development of construction infrastructure, various sports were added to the body of this complex in the form of specialized departments and academies. In the early years, the club's mission and goal-setting were based on the development of sports activities at youth levels, so that by nurturing the young generation, strong pillars of the country's sports would be formed from within this complex. Today, Gol Gohar academies, beyond being an educational unit, act as strategic arms of the club in realizing the vision, mission, and organizational objectives.
With the formulation of science-based planning and the adoption of a knowledge-based approach, this club has chosen sustainable development in sports as the main priority of its policies. The ultimate goal of this approach is to achieve sustainable development in all technical, social, and ethical dimensions of athletes, so that while having an effective presence in the country's youth sports and strengthening its role in the country's sports, the path of excellence for champions toward international levels is paved.
